Autonomous Exit

Paragliding in places that are otherwise not easily accessible: Max takes this fascination to a new level with this project.

He uses his EPSILON DLS as his BASE exit point – no tandem, no helicopter. What happens next is a seamless transition from gliding to freefall, before whizzing past the Bavarian fairytale castle at 200 km/h. A unique moment, literally. Was this the fastest sightseeing flight in the history of Neuschwanstein Castle? Perhaps, and was it Max's first wingsuit flight of this kind? Definitely.

Not only was Max completely alone during the flight itself, he also constructed his own system for the jump. A unique project with a set-up that had never been seen before. Two factors that definitely get the pulse racing before take-off.
He takes off at 1,666m on the Tegelberg and flies himself the 2.5 km to his drop-off point 600m above the Pöllat Gorge. And then – paraglider cutaway, skydive exit.
Two air sports, two completely different disciplines, one adventure. Professional skydiver Max Manow combines two flying worlds for his wingsuit fly-past at Neuschwanstein Castle.
Max and his vision made another dream come true: independence. No cliffs, buildings, aircraft, helicopters, D-bags - you name it.
