XC PERFORMANCES
In 2022, the ADVANCE pilots again achieved top international and national performances in the various categories of the XContest. Congratulations to all of you!
Once more Manuele Dondi from Italy stands on the highest pedestal of the World XContest. This year he won the sport class with the new IOTA DLS. His brother Stefano Dondi also takes third place in the sport class with a SIGMA 11. Swiss pilot Chris Vuille came third in the standard class with his IOTA DLS. The new IOTA DLS impressively demonstrates its capabilities. Long, relaxed flights are its trademark. In addition, Aaron Durogati has worked his way up to 4th place in the Serial class with impressive flights in the remote Karakorum. Especially worth mentioning is an FAI triangle over 312 km, which is considered an Asian record.

THE VETERAN IS BACK ON THE PODIUM
Almost in secret, Kari Eisenhut has made more and more cross-country flights in recent years. The result is impressive: 1st place in the Swiss XContest sport category. Together with Chris Vuille, the Bernese Oberland fraction has accumulated a lot of XC kilometres. For Chris it is the third podium place in a row. Incidentally, on his XContest page Chris comments on many of his flights with lots of humour and pictures.

DIFFICULT FLYING CONDITIONS
A really good flying year 2021 in Norway was followed by a wet and windy flying season this year. "We had a few good days that I was able to take full advantage of. Unfortunately, these days were all early season, but hey that's nature."
