About
Verena Siegl is at home in the Allgäu and made her passion her profession 15 years ago. For more than 10 years, she has been leading flight tours and XC training courses at the Swiss travel company Fly with Andy and has made adventures around the globe possible for many pilots.
Interview
Do you remember your first flight? How was it?
An unforgettable tandem flight in the Allgäu with someone who became a good friend. My first own take-off at a small hill in the Rhön fascinated me and really motivated me to start flying.
For which moment do you fly?
There are so many in the 20 years... the sunsets from the air, all the circles with the birds, clouds surfing or just a nice glide down after a long mountain tour.
Your three top flying areas?
Oh, only three?! Southeast France, the Balkans and of course the Allgäu ;)
What are you doing on a day that is not flyable?
I am also super happy to hike in the mountains. I just want to be outdoors! And if it rains then there is time to meet friends or cook.
Most important paragliding successes?
The record flight of 458 km in Brazil with my SIGMA 11.
Why do you fly for ADVANCE?

What is your favourite food?
Whether at home or traveling - I can get excited about almost anything....
